The Hurricanes made it 12 wins this season with a comprehensive 29-5 win over the Blues at Eden Park last night.

The visitors scored four tries in the win securing a bonus point which cemented a playoff spot for the Wellington-based side and also puts them 13 points clear at the top of the standings with three matches left to play.

Prop Chris Eves, halfback TJ Perenara, hooker Dane Coles and wing Nehe Milner-Skudder all crossed the line for the Hurricanes.

Perenara bagged his eighth try this season to lead the competition while Milner-Skudder's diving effort was as good as you will see.

The Blues did grab a consolation try late in the game to replacement Vaea Fifita.

Hurricanes 29 (Chris Eves, TJ Perenara, Dane Coles, Nehe Milner-Skudder tries, Otere Black pen, con 3) beat Blues 5 (Vaea Fifita, try). Halftime: 17-0.
