Hurricanes coach Chris Boyd has made a number of changes for this weekends match with the Chiefs at Westpac Stadium on Saturday.

All Blacks Julian Savea and TJ Perenara return after their mandatory All Blacks stand down while Danes Coles comes back onto the bench after an injury enforced layoff.

Reggie Goodes will start at prop ahead of Chris Eves who made his first Super Rugby start last week and Brad Shields is also back in the loose.

Fullback Nehe Milner-Skudder has been given the all clear to play at fullback after an injury against the Sharks last week forced him from the field.

Meanwhile, Conrad Smith and Ma'a Nonu will celebrate their 50th Super Rugby match as a midfield pair and Jeffery Toomaga-Allen will make his 50th appearance when he comes off the bench.
