The Hurricanes have made it two from two in South Africa with a 17-13 win over the Bulls in Pretoria yesterday morning.
Hurricanes and All Blacks wing Julian Savea scored the visitors only try in the game with the rest of the points coming through the boot of Beauden Barrett who kicked four penalty goals.
The Bulls led 10-9 at the halftime break thanks to Handre Pollard converted try and a penalty.
Pollard scored all 13 of the Bulls points in the game with a second half penalty in the 52nd minute.
The home side looked to have won the match in the final moments when lock Grant Hattingh crashed over in the corner only for the TMO to disallow the try, Hattingh's hand clearly in touch.
The Hurricanes next match is against the Force in Perth on Friday evening.
Hurricanes 17 (Julian Savea try; Beauden Barrett four pens) beat Bulls 13 (Handre Pollard try; Pollard con, 2 pens). Halftime 9-10.
