Savea Stars in Aussie Annihilation

  • Savea Stars in Aussie Annihilation

Hurricanes wing Julian Savea played a starring role in the All Blacks 51-20 hammering of Australia in the second Bledisloe Cup test at Eden Park last night.

Savea was far-and-away the best wing on the park and he showed all the skills scoring a scintillating try from a brilliant Aaron Cruden break and setting up Kieran Read's try with a brilliant chip kick off the outside of his boot. [quote]Savea's defence and ability under the high ball was one again top-notch. The rest of the Hurricanes participants in the match had solid outings especially replacement pivot Beauden Barrett whose try-saving tackle after an Israel Folau intercept, was world class.
